NEW YORK, Aug. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Bonobos, HelloFresh, Lamps Plus, Outer, Poshmark, Sephora and Warby Parker are the winners of the 2nd annual CommerceNexty Awards.

Warby Parker was named Marketing Innovator of the Year for the second consecutive year for deploying a tool that uses AR to let customers try on glasses virtually.

Barkha Saxena, Chief Data Officer at Poshmark was named mBolden's Women Retail Innovator Award.

The CommerceNextys are produced by CommerceNext, the annual summit for next-level customer acquisition. The annual awards program was developed to identify and reward the year's best marketing performances among retail and ecommerce professionals. The 2019 awards had 7 categories of winners:

-- Marketing Innovator of the Year: Warby Parker won Marketing Innovator of
the Year for a new Virtual Try-On tool in the iOS app that uses Apple's
ARKit and TrueDepth technology, coupled with Warby Parker's unique
placement algorithm to allow users to try on glasses from their iPhone
X--seeing the realistic color, texture, and size of each style on their
        face.
-- Best Use of Data in Marketing: Poshmark, the social commerce
marketplace, won for developing algorithms and tools to dramatically
improve the ability to measure TV performance; enabling the notoriously
opaque marketing channel to emerge as the top non-digital channel to
        drive growth for the company.
-- Most Effective Social Strategy: the category winner for the 2nd year in
a row, Sephora won for launching the #SephoraSquad influencer program to
amplify community voices, and celebrate inclusivity and diversity
through outreach, sharing and education in partnership with
        collaborators.
-- Most Impactful Media Campaign: Bonobos won for #EvolveTheDefinition, a
layered campaign and micro-documentary intended to examine cultural
norms and misperceptions of masculinity and encourage a nationwide
conversation about what it means to be a man in today's world.
-- Outstanding Cross-Channel Campaign: (TIE) new DTC outdoor furniture
startup Outer and HelloFresh tied for this category. Outer won for the
crowdsourced offline campaign "Neighborhood Showrooms," which directed
prospects to the backyards and homes of real customers, enabling them to
experience a physical product in-person at the convenience of their own
neighborhood, and get product feedback from a real customer instead of a
salesman in a store. HelloFresh won for a campaign that uses
programmatic triggers to send individual pieces of direct mail in
response to specific customer actions, then using direct mail to
communicate with customers who have unsubscribed from email.
-- Best Use of a New Channel: lighting and home furnishings company Lamps
Plus won for the launch of the brand ambassador program for content and
social influence. The program, in which Brand Ambassadors were
successfully positioned with media as leading experts in their fields,
delivered results across all marketing channels as each ambassador
created a curated assortment of product recommendations.
-- mBolden's Women Retail Innovator Award: new for 2019, Barkha Saxena,
Chief Data Officer at Poshmark, won. This award recognizes women in
retail who have either brought innovation into the retail space or have
led the transformation of a retail business in how they reach and
        connect with customers.
