CBT Nuggets Increasing Community Support During Pandemic

EUGENE, Ore., March 18, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CBT Nuggets, a leading provider of online video training for IT professionals, has committed to supporting those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, CBT Nuggets has encouraged its 160 employees to work from home through April. However, it's continuing to pay caterers for its Eugene and Bend offices during this period -- allowing them to prep meals that are being donated to those in need in both communities.

"We're grateful that we are able to help serve those who are in need during this time, as they are among the most vulnerable," said CBT Nuggets owners Dan and Johnna Charbonneau. "It's important for us to be able to step up and support our local communities and businesses."

CBT Nuggets is donating meals and snacks to 15th Night in Eugene and Shepherd's House Ministries in Bend. 15th Night provides support and services to homeless students in the Eugene and Springfield areas, while Shepherd's House provides food and shelter to those in need in Central Oregon.

The state of Oregon has taken strong measures to combat the spread of COVID-19. Oregon governor Kate Brown has announced a ban on gatherings of more than 25 people, and also ordered that all K-12 schools and restaurants and bars be closed through April.

CBT Nuggets IT training for individuals and teams is available 24/7 and on any device. Our training library includes thousands of videos on widely used technologies from top vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, and Amazon Web Services.
