Raytheon successor RTX to inspect Airbus A320Neo engines
RTX, the aviation and defense giant formerly known as Raytheon, said Tuesday it will undertake special plane inspections to check for a metallic weakness in some Airbus A320Neo engines.
The inspections involve Airbus planes whose engines were manufactured by RTX-subsidiary Pratt & Whitney with metal produced between 2015 and 2021.
