In the training world, SimiGon's advanced, PC-based training solutions for government and industry customers are successfully deployed in professional communities, enabling our partners and end users significant time and money savings.

With operational environments such as aircraft cockpits, ship consoles, UAVs, air traffic control systems, ground vehicles, weapons systems and others becoming increasingly complex, expensive and dangerous to train on, it is essential for human operators to receive sufficient and effective training. SimiGon was founded with the goal of filling this growing gap between professional requirements and existing training methods by providing cost-effective, high-tech, efficient training solutions.

SimiGon provides training solutions across the hardware spectrum to offer customers a range of systems that fit easily into budgets. SIMbox technologies are used for Web Based Training, Computer Based Training and Simulation Based Training solutions as well as for integrated software/hardware solutions – including Part Task Trainers, Cockpit Procedural Trainers, Tactical Trainers and Full Mission Simulators.

SIMbox-based After Action Review (AAR) debriefing systems offer users a host of features including real time debriefing and playback capabilities. Based on SIMbox's open architecture, the advanced, plug & play software solution can easily interface with third-party hardware and software. SimiGon's full scale debriefing software is recognized as an industry leader and is used worldwide.

For In Flight Entertainment (IFE), SimiGon developed an innovative plug & play IFE software solution, AirTrack. It has entertaining, high-fidelity 3D simulation with real time views of the outside and out-the-window environments as the flight progresses; high resolution satellite map imagery; display of traditional flight parameters; and can play all digital media – even commercials. The system comes with a user-friendly configuration tool and is automated to reduce cabin crew workload so there is no need to change aircraft IFE configuration. AirTrack is already used by Lufthansa, Air Berlin and Hapag Lloyd.

In the security solutions sector, SIMbox is utilized as a training system for transportation and port and borders security. SIMbox’s open architecture allows us to provide an integrated real time Command and Control system with sensors, detectors and video along with high-fidelity 3D simulation and Artificial Intelligence to guide security personnel and first responders.

SimiGon is vigilantly focused on providing the best Modeling, Simulation & Training solutions on the market, saving the Company’s partners considerable time and money.

Accessible online or offline for 24/7 training, install KnowBook on your laptop and make it part of your deployment package.

High-Fidelity 3D Simulation
KnowBook's high-fidelity 3D simulation bridges the gap between classroom training and the cockpit. Included in the simulation package are hi-resolution terrain, a Virtual Instructor, and full briefing and debriefing capabilities. Used for all training aspects - initial training, recurrent training and operational training, a KnowBook training session prior to a sortie ensures mission success.

Additional simulation features are:
• Dynamic shapes in the simulation for faster learning.
• User ability to define scenario special effects including weather, wind, time of day.
• Simulation Instructor Station (SIS) enables flight instructor’s direct control over student stations as well interactive guidance.
• Ability to create and modify simulation components.

Distributed Mission Training
The advent of network-centric warfare and C4I has made today's training needs more complex than ever. The solution for multi-ship training, joint forces training, and data-link training is KnowBook's Distributed Mission Training (DMT). Enabling multi-user training from remote locations, this KnowBook feature has become a mainstay in many training programs.

Virtual Instructor
As a personal tutor, the Virtual Instructor (VI) is a key KnowBook component to decrease training time and increase Operational Readiness.

The VI is a major component of the Training Center, providing pilots with complete or partial guidance, set according to user parameters. Used for instruction in avionics, weapons, weather and emergencies, with the VI, aircrew is assured of experienced advice and will be prepared for critical, high pressure situations. After flying with the VI, user self-confidence is bolstered by knowing exactly how to act, react, and execute accordingly.

The Knowbook family consist of AirBook, GroundBook, and MarineBook.
