The history of PRAGA Hostivar a.s., has been written by the history of two independent companies, till 1990's known under company names Praga a.s., carrying business in the area of automotive industry and TECHNOMETRA Praha a.s., carrying business in the area of hydraulics and aircraft components.

In consequence of privatisation and large changes in all areas of industry in the Czech Republic, in 1998 came to joint venture of both companies, their production bases and production plans and thereby to common development of further history, the origins of which are dated at "Praga" from 1907 and at "TECHNOMETRA" from 1908.

Hydraulic high-pressure filters series FU are intended for fine filtration of hydraulic fluid from mechanical dirt. Filter consists of head from ductile cast iron with safety filter /by type of filter/ a signalization of pollution, steel vessel and filtration component. Vessels with head are connected with screws. Direction of flow is marked at the head of filter by arrows.

Today, the main program in the sphere of aircraft instruments production consists mainly of aircraft instruments delivered for Aero Vodochody a.s. for their planes L 159 - 28 types of instruments and 24 types of instruments for Ae 270. These instruments are parts of pneumatic, fuel and hydraulic system of the plane.

Beside this production, there are also produced aircraft instruments and various types of details of these instruments, that were produced in the past for aeroplanes L 29, L 39, L 410, L 610. PRAGA Hostivar a.s., besides ensures especially for Aero Vodochody a.s. and other customers various levels of repairs of aircraft instruments.
