Alhasawi Group of Companies established in 1960. Mr. Abdulkarim Alhasawi, Chairman of the Group, is the sole proprietor and it is fully owned by him. Mr. Alhasawi was born in 1932. Having inspired by the Mechanical Engineering background, wealth of experience and the necessity of serving the country more on the environment friendly, he started his business in 1960 with “Alhasawi Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment Est.” with the aim of supplying spare parts and carrying out maintenance on all kinds of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Since then Hasawi has been a leader in the development of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning industry in Kuwait. HVAC Equipment & Spare Parts

Started in 1960 as a wholesaler, importing and exporting parts and components for refrigeration and air-conditioning units, Hasawi today has grown into a big business having many showrooms located in various locations in Kuwait with 18 mobile sales van.  Proud of having granted an ISO 9002 Certificate for “Retail Sales and Spare Parts, Accessories and Equipment for Refrigeration and Air-­conditioning”, it also gained strong business international relations with reputable agencies as Copeland-USA, Tecumseh Europe, Bristol-USA, ICI-UK, Danfoss-Denmark, Luve-Italy, Kyrotsu-Japan... just to name a few. 

ACE Hardware

Established in 1993 and operating as the largest retail supplier in home consumer products, hardware, tools and accessories, ACE Hardware is a member of the largest US-based Home Center with a showroom measuring 50,000 sq. ft. carrying over 80,000 different products such as Sporting Goods, Lawn and Garden, Paint, Tools & Hardware, Houseware ..etc.

It holds an ISO 9002 Certificate for ‘The Supply of Retail Services across a broad range of Consumer Products’. 

SEARS department store

Established in 1996 and operating as the largest retail store in Consumer Products, SEARS-Kuwait is one of the largest chains of department stores in the United States carrying a broad range of consumer products from apparels to home lines. The 60,000 sq. ft. showroom carries an awesome range of apparels for all ages and gender as cosmetics, home fashion, outdoor living, hardware, footwear and sporting goods. It holds an ISO 9002 Certificate for ‘The Supply of Retail Services across a broad range of Consumer Products’. Also, in August 2008 we have opened a new branch showroom of SEARS in another location in Kuwait. 

Air-Condition Factory

The company manufactures mini-split A/C units, in addition to a wide range of window, mini-central and central air-conditioners under original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Hasawi brands with capacities vary from 7000 BTU to 48000 BTU. The company is proud for the recognition that receives for its products. The company holds ISO 9001 and ISO 9002 certifications and also holds the Kuwait Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) approval for load and power consumption for all its products, which are certified by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) of the US and CE of Europe. 

Refrigerator Factory

The company manufactures Commercial refrigerators, Visicoolers, Display cabinets with an estimated 60% market share in the supermarket and co-operative industry. It also got world-class ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and CE certification. 

Water Cooler Factory

The company manufactures a wide range of water coolers including open gravity type coolers, closed-tank pressure coolers, large industrial chillers and portable coolers with capacities ranging from 5 liters to 400 liters. It also got certification from the Ministry of Electricity and Water and also gained an international recognition with ISO 9001 for the Design. Manufacture and Supply of Water Coolers’ and the CE European Certificate. 

Water Heater Factory

The company manufactures water heaters of all sizes in galvanized steel and copper. It ranges from 12 to 100 gallon capacity. Approved by the Ministry of Electricity & Water and the National Housing Authority, Hasawi Water Heaters gained international acclaim meeting ISO 9001 Standard in ‘The Design, Manufacture and Supply of Water Heaters and the CE European Certificate. 

Cold Stores & Refrigerator Transport Factory

Hasawi Cold Storage & Refrigeration Transport Factory has been manufacturing and installing various sizes of injected polyurethane panels for cold storages, refrigerated truck boxes and truck bodies. 

Maintenance Company for A/C & Refrigeration

Working as a separate company it carries out maintenance in refrigeration and air-conditioning projects exclusively for various Ministries and other government sectors, this department is determined to give its best in the preservation of all the projects it handled. It also undertakes the Supermarket & Installation turnkey projects complete with design and installation of mechanical and electrical units for supermarkets ranging from refrigerators, freezers, shelving, shopping counters and shopping carts. Almost 70% of all supermarket turnkey projects in Kuwait today are manifestations of its ideals. Maintenance is carried out on annual basis by the company's highly experienced and specialized workforce which resulted in the ISO 9002 certification for “The Supply of Retail Services Across a Broad Range of Supermarket Consumer Products”. 

Hotel, Kitchen and Cafeteria Equipments supply

In 2005, the Group opened a new division called 'Hotel, Kitchen and Cafeteria Equipments Supply' wherein it caters to the needs of all hotel supplies with two showrooms in Kuwait.
