Al-Muhalab Contracting and Trading Company, was established in 1957 in the hands of the current Chairman Mr. Abdulghani Mohammed Al-Abdulghani and it is still a family owned and operated company. Al-Muhalab at first was established as a lighting fittings showroom and quickly expanded its operations to become a well diversified company that owns branches locally and internationally.

The two main operations of these branches are:

• Electrical Contracting Internal and External,
• Steel Manufacturing.

Other operations include:

• Travel Agency,
• Lighting Showroom.
