CES University

The CES University is offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in business administration aiming to assess and meet the needs of different economic sectors with responsibility and social sensitivity. The program aims to develop students’ skills in planning, management, decision-making and control of management processes for organizations both nationally and internationally.

The department offers students the opportunity to explore the various areas of biology in an undergraduate and postgraduate program that uses current methods of experimentation in molecular biology, biochemistry, genomics, and bioinformatics within introductory courses taken at the outset of studies.

The CES University is offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in law structured by a group of recognized professionals. The program is committed to excellence and professional integrity beyond the traditional notions of law. By 2020 the law program of the CES University will be recognized worldwide for its academic excellence, addressing education as an interdisciplinary perspective.

The CES University is offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in physiotherapy in different clinical and public health fields related to human body movement and disabilities.

The CES University is offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in biomedical engineering, a profession that combines knowledge of engineering and medicine. The program offers different solutions in the fields of biochemical engineering, such as:

• Rehabilitation and human performance engineering,
• Clinical Engineering,
• Biomedical diagnostic and treatment devices and equipment,
• Health Biotechnology.

 
The biomedical engineering program is offered in partnership between the UCES University and the University of Antioquia and, providing students and graduates with the support of two highly recognized institutions.

The CES University medical program is the first higher education program in Colombia, accredited by the Ministry of National Education that focuses on the training of medical professionals with the highest human qualities.

The CES University is offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in veterinary medicine and is a center of excellence for teaching and research. The university produces clinicians, researchers and practitioners of the very highest caliber that go on to follow diverse career paths becoming successful practitioners and academic veterinarians.

The Faculty of Dentistry of the University of CES is offering oral health training, producing responsible doctors and technicians and is the first program to have been accredited by the Ministry of National Education in Colombia.

The CES University is offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in psychology, the scientific study of mental functions and behaviors, for the training of ethical and responsible professionals.

Pre-hospital care is considered an extension of the hospital emergency department. The program is not only preparing skilled clinical professionals, but also providing welfare services reducing the number of deaths caused by the lack of timely care.

The CES University has also created help service centers for the provision of high quality services and customer care in the fields of dentistry, physiotherapy and psychology (CES - Sabaneta, CES - Almacentro), medicine and paramedicine (CEMPAS -Training Center), as well as veterinary medicine.

The CES University has created help programs, such as the “Por mi Bebé” and the “Diapneu” for the provision of essential care to mothers and newborns in order to prevent disease and promote good health practices. The University has also created other help projects, such as the “Prevendi”, for people with disabilities and infectious or chronic diseases.
