PLANT 410 CIVIL AVIATION

The State Enterprise PLANT 410 CIVIL AVIATION, is an aircraft and engine repair and restoration plant, part of the larger concern Ukrobornprom. The company also has a specific capability for custom-built aircraft, units and systems.

The company is capable of carrying out a wide variety of services on Antonov planes including:

• AN-24, AN-26, AN-30m AN-32 aircraft overhaul
• Complex life extension works on all Antonov aircraft
• All kinds of technical service and maintenance
• On-site restoration repairs of the said types of aircraft
• CRW1, CRW2, CRW3 on Antonov-74
• Re-equipment of Antonov-26 into passenger and cargo-passenger versions; re-equipment of Antonov-30 into passenger and administrative versions
• Upgrades of Antonov-24, Antonov-26, Antonov-30, Antonov-72, and Antonov-74 for international flights
• Modernisation of airborne radio electronic equipment
• Modification of Antonov-32 for life extension up to 40 years with complete replacement of all avionics
• Weighing of aircraft (centring calculations)
• Painting of aircraft surface with DuPont acrylic or polyurethane enamels

The plant also cooperated with other Ukroboronprom companies to produce the  D-36 engine which has proven to be good and reliable in operation. The engine was produced due to the combined efforts of the workers and engineers of the state enterprise Plant 410 CA, the designers and engineers of the Ivchenko-Progress Design Bureau, the mechanical and process engineers, metallurgists, strength and durability specialists of the public holding Motor-Sich, and the Customer’s main representation at this enterprise.

The plant has earned the BUREAU VERITAS ISO 9001 certification and that of the Hungarian Defence Ministry’s NATO AQAP 2120 standard.
