The General Aviation Design Bureau is a part of the larger state concern Ukroboronprom, and specialises in Aerospace sector, operating regularly as a subcontractor for European and North American manufacturers. The Bureau's capabilities and services include design and development of very light aviation equipment (aircraft equipment, hang gliders and their spare parts), while offering project management, consulting, engineering in vehicles and equipment, testing, and aviation technology engineering.

The organisation has also designed and manufactured ultralight trikes, having designed the T-2 Maverick and T-32 Maverick. The  unusual side-by-side configuration of the T-2 Maverick makes it suitable as a training aircraft, while the T-32 Maverick three-seat ultralight trike design, offers a double rear seat for two passengers.
