Chemical State Enterprise Named After G.I. Petrovskiy

The State Chemical Enterprise Named After G.I.Petrovskiy is part of Ukroboronprom State Concern and is the only enterprise in Ukraine which produces ballistite gunpowders, ballistite solid rocket fuels and charges from them, as well as industrial explosives of all classes of safety.

Other products that the enterprise manufactures include:

• Various highly dangerous explosives
• Paints and varnishes
• Linoleum
• Household chemical products
• Products from foam rubber and polyethylene

In 1995, the Chemical State Enterprise was awarded with the "International diamond star for quality" presented by the National Institute of Marketing of Mexico.

The capabilities of the enterprise are further listed below:

• Production of explosives and  ballistic powder for Ministry of Defence of Ukraine
• Pyrotechnics production
• Production of explosives for industrial purposes
• Recycling of ammunition unfit for further use and storage
• Production of household products, paint-and-lacquer products, products made of foamed rubber, polyethylene, linoleum
