A-RIM MACHINERY & ENGINEERING CO., was founded in Busan on March 26, 1988. Since its establishment the Company have been manufacturing shipping materials, especially deck machinery (e.g. winches and cranes).
Of the total products manufactured by A-RIM, more that 70% have been exported under the Company's own brand. Thanks to the increase in products and quality improvement over the past 15 years, A-RIM is favorably recognized by the industry and has received orders from foreign shipyards and owners.
From the design to the delivery process, A-RIM products are thoroughly inspected and supervised by shipyards and classification agencies (e.g. KR, ABS, LR, CCS, GL, DNV, NK) as they are closely related to vessel navigation. The products are subject to testing prior to delivery to guarantee quality.
Additionally, the Company, in order to guarantee its product quality, been certified under the ISO Quality Management System Certification.
