Taikoo Engine Services (Xiamen) Co. Ltd. (TEXL)

TAIKOO ENGINE SERVICES (XIAMEN) CO. LTD (TEXL) was established in July 2008 as a joint venture between Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd.(HAECO), Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd., Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd.(TAECO) and Xiamen Aviation Industry Co. Ltd. As Swire Pacific Ltd. is a major shareholder of both HAECO and Cathay Pacific, TEXL is also a member of the aviation division of the Swire group.

TEXL specializes in the repair, overhaul and engine testing of GE90 series engines and as part of a 22-year long term partnership with GE the Company is licensed as an authorized GE90 service provider, a GE90 center of excellence and the sole holder of a GE90 GE branded service agreement (GBSA) in Asia. GE joined TEXL as a 9.9% shareholder in Nov 2014.
