Established in 1979 as a specialist in defense industry products and ship engines, Doowon Heavy Industrial has been producing compressors for automotive applications since 1993. Since 2008, we have successfully developed and mass-produced variable and electric compressors using proprietary technology, which are now installed in key models of global car manufacturers.

With a 40-year history in the defense industry and aerospace sector, Doowon Heavy Industrial is engaged in the research, development, and production of guided missile systems, structural components for space launch vehicles (SLV), satellite thermal control devices, ammunition handling and loading automation systems, and fire control devices.
