As described in the Multi-annual indicative programme (MIP) 2021-2027, and in the context of Global Gateway, the NDICI Cooperation Facility will support the preparation and improve the quality of programming through support to the identification, formulation, implementation, audit and evaluation of actions under the MIP or under other financial instruments implemented by the EU Delegation in South Africa.

This flexible facility will lay the ground for future actions, such as through a range of studies, mapping and research and subsequent dissemination, as appropriate, which will be achieved through events, such as conferences, awareness-raising, training, preparation and exchange of lessons learnt and best practices, thus contributing to public diplomacy.

The Facility will also help improve and monitor the adequate inclusion of crosscutting issues in the entire portfolio and will allow the Delegation to respond swiftly and with flexibility to ad hoc requirements recurrent in the evo
