The IPD (International Participation Day) will be held on 25 April 2018 in Amsterdam. The objective of the IPD is for NIDV participants and overseas OEMs to meet each other, share information about products and services and to see if there is potential to collaborate to provide new material for the Ministry of Defence. Compared to 2017, the coalition agreement for the government to allocate more money to the Ministry of Defence is likely to generate more interest among international industry.

In 2017, 25 international OEMs and 75 representatives from NIDV participants entered into discussion. They used the Pitch & Match tool to make as many appointments possible in one day.
